Waterstones at The Bentall Centre had a very special visit on Saturday 12th November - The Dark Lord of the Sith!
David Prowse, the actor famous for playing the Iconic Darth Vader in the first batch of Star Wars films was at Waterstones for a very special booksigning.
You can buy David Prowse's autobiography, 'Straight from the forces mouth' from Waterstone's at the Bentall Centre. It will make a great Christmas present for any Star Wars fan.
The event was caught on film by EUTV, and a probing short interview with Darth can be seen below. He reveals he was offered the role of Chewbacca before Darth Vader. Good choice Mr Prowse!

Mark will be promoting his latest book, Good as Dead, which promises to

Tournaments at the Waterstone’s store in The Bentall Centre, Kingston are always a massive hit with people
from all ages joining in.
The latest
tournament was the store’s biggest to date with 72 participants taking part in
the duels (not including parents and guardians.) Children from as young as 5 years old to
people in their early twenties gathered to duel for another fantastic event!
Frequent
Champion Kamille, who runs a Cyberdark Deck, was the big winner of the night
scoring an amazing 23 wins and getting himself 70 points from the event. Impressive!
The lucky winner was presented with the star prize of the night - a Venominon the Snake King card worth £15 singularly
as well as a Desert Twisterand aBlazewing Butterfly in Ultra
rare and secret rare.

Walliams will be happy to hear that he will be signing his book Mr Stink and
his amazing new book Billionaire Boy on
Thursday 21st July 2011 at 4pm at Waterstones in The Bentall Centre,
Kingston.
It also ties in nicely with the Mr Stink show
which is coming to the Kingston
Rose Theatre
from Tuesday 26th July 2011 to Sunday 31st July 2011.
David Walliams
is not only a writer for both children and adults but he is also an award-winning
performer on the stage and television.
He has written and performed with his friend Matt Lucas over the years
building up a huge fan base. His most
well known programmes Little Britain, Little Britain USA and, more recently,
Come Fly With Me have all been great successes thanks to the hilarious
characters and witty dialogue.
David has
